The Story
We are happy to join forces with one of the world's most beloved and singular musicians, Tabea Zimmermann. A self-described "musician who just happens to play the viola", Ms. Zimmermann's is known for her charismatic stage presence and a deeply probing musicianship. Her wide-ranging repertoire served as the inspiration for this program that encompasses everything from Mozart arrangements of Bach, thorough Debussy, Albéniz, Josef Tal - a founding father of Israel's concert music scene - and Jörg Widmann.
