The Story
The first half features both an early creation of a young Claude Debussy as well as his final masterpiece, crafted when he was recognized as one of history's greatest composers and widely regarded for his pivotal influence. The program concludes with Johannes Brahms' first Piano Trio, composed when he was only twenty years old but heavily revised in his later years. Part of Intimate Evenings Subscription Series.
