"The Israeli Chamber Project is that rarest of creatures: a band of world-class soloists that is not a muster of peacocks, but a hive mind in which egos dissolve and players think, breathe and play as one."
–Time Out New York

One Program - Three Homages
Eighteenth-century composer and publisher Johann Anton André – an esteemed contemporary of Mozart – offers a fresh perspective on one of the master’s violin and piano sonatas, reimagining it as a quartet for clarinet and strings. In a striking contrast, renowned German composer Jörg Widmann draws on the enchanted world of fairy tales and the romantic spirit of Robert Schumann in creating his phantasmagorical tour de force for viola, clarinet and piano, Once upon a time... The program concludes with Brahms’ powerful 3rd Piano Quartet, a deeply personal and passionate tribute to his lifelong muse and unattainable love, Clara Schumann.
